The new host brings a fresh energy and clarity that the show really needed. They’re engaging, well-prepared, and make every episode feel more focused and enjoyable. Honestly, it’s a huge improvement—I’m way more excited to tune in now!
Please make the information front and center.
PLEASE reduce the volume on the background music. It is overwhelming when trying to listen while driving or doing other side tasks. I want to hear the content primarily. I would rate this a 5 if I could readily heard the content.
Good but…
In 2024 with new host drifts into politics too often. These quick, often snarky, comments are not why people listen, it alienates. Please stick to the cosmos.
Space science done simply & enthusiastically!
Take two great communicators, add a ton of rapport and plenty of space news and you’ve got the Space Nuts podcast. Andrew and Fred go together like matter and antimatter, without the kaboom.
Casual and intelligence
Agree about everything or not, these are average (and above average) Joe’s with a great format and understandable explanations for the Everyman. My #2 after Star Talk.

Great mix of the latest astronomy and space news, if it wasn’t for the cringeworthy Monday episodes with Steve and his “AI assistant” Hallie and their fake banter. It’s time Hallie got unplugged, please!
GOAT of all space podcasts
Great hosts that explain everything space related into easy understandable episodes for the novice to the experts. Great banter between Andrew and The Professor. Love Andrew's Dad jokes.
